San Diego Global Vision Academy

SDGVA will be offering a 6-to-6 program for the 2012-2013 school year, based upon space availability.

Requirements to enroll into the 6 to 6 program:

1. Enrollment at San Diego Global Vision Academy
2. Completion of the Free and Reduced Lunch Application                       (forms available on campus or online www.sandi.net)
3. Pick up a 6 to 6 application and SDGVA office 

Please note that even if you don’t qualify, or have never qualified in the past for free/reduced lunch, SDGVA must have this form on file in order to determine your monthly rate and before 6 to 6 services can begin.

Each participating family will qualify for one of the plans below*.

AM Care 6:00 am – 8:00 am $200 a month

PM Care 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm $300 a month

AM/PM care $500 a month

The monthly amount comes out to $5.00/hour and is already prorated for the entire year.

(2-5 hours a day – approximately 37 weeks a school year)

Discounted amount is 25% off and includes siblings and families that qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch.

(The monthly amount comes out to $3.75/hour and is already prorated for the entire year.)

*Financial hardship is taken into consideration when appropriate documentation is provided to the school in order to receive additional discount. 

Discounts will be based on current tax returns, pay stubs, unemployment stubs, disability, or Government Aid/Assistance paperwork. Discounts will lower the hourly rate.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I know what plan I will qualify for?
All families are required to fill out the free and reduced lunch application.  The state of California will determine and verify your income, which will place you in one of the payment plans listed above. You will be notified of your payment plan shortly after you complete the free and reduced lunch application. (Free and Reduced Lunch applications available on-line or in SDGVA’s office)

When will payments be collected?
6 to 6 services will be billed on the 15th of each month.

How will payments be made?
After your payment plan is determined a recurring payment account will be set up that will charge your credit card on the 15th of each month.  An emailed receipt will be sent to confirm the payment.

Rules and regulations

6 to 6 closes at 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. If late the following fees will incur.

• 1st late offense: $1.00 per minute that I am late.
• 2nd late offense: $1.00 per minute that I am late, no morning or afternoon 6 to 6 for the next day.
• 3rd late offense: $1.00 per minute that I am late, no morning or afternoon 6 to 6 for the next week (5 school days).

If your child does not behave during the day there is a chance that they will not be allowed to attend afternoon 6 to 6 care for that day.

* There will be no 6 to 6 care available on the following dates due to Parent-Teacher conferences on site and school release time is 1pm on these days:
